Update! May 12, 2018 - We would like to congratulate Roy Wilson of Woodland, CA for winning our Forest Lights Opportunity Quilt.
Each year the Rogue Valley Piecemakers creates an Opportunity Quilt and offers an "Opportunity" to win it by raffle. All proceeds from raffle tickets are donated to a local non-profit organization to help our community. This year the members voted to benefit two organizations that will share the benefits from these donations. They are the Women's Crisis Center and Josephine County Search and Rescue.
The quilt was pieced by Pat S., Linda S., Peggy T., Sharon G., Sandie F., Barbara H., from a design by A Wing and a Prayer, titled “Forest Lights”. The quilt measures 94" x 94". Sue Q. has offered to be our “Quilt Mom” and organize ticket sales and raffle ticket events. A HUGE thank you to Jordan’s Fabrics for donating the fabric,Plaza Quilting and Sewing Center for donating the batting, and Carol Bryant for donating her quilting services.
Tickets are currently on sale $1 each or 6 for $5. Contact any of our guild members, or anywhere the quilt is shown. The winning ticket to be drawn at our2018 “Enchanted Forest” Quilt Show on May 12, 2018.
