Each participant selected 4 fat quarters from their stash, then the fabrics were given to another participant as a challenge project. The receiver could add 2 more fat quarters of their choosing and create something sewing or quilting related. Also, it was okay to add additional fabric for binding, lining, or back if needed. So today was the reveal! The items made were "boomeranged" back to the original participant getting a finished product made from their chosen fat quarters. Due to Covid restrictions, we met outside with lawn chairs in tow! We had so much fun seeing what everyone made! All wonderful, I wanted to share with everyone! Thank you to everyone!
The Challenge "A Head" was revealed at our October 21, 2019 meeting. Either too much happening or our challenge may have been too challenging, as a total of three members completed the project. What was a surprise was all the fun foods! The Valley Girls Quilt Show was this weekend and they were exhausted after the long but wonderful weekend. So, they stayed home to recoup! We missed you, ladies! Thank you Carol D., for sending a picture of her challenge . (included in the slideshow.)
